SAVONPACK AMERICA is the fastest bundler for big bundles. It is studied for high-speed lines where the soap-flow coming from the upstream soap wrapper or cartoner is very high. Our Splitter/700 can receive up to 600 and more wrapped or cartoned bars per minute and divides the upcoming single lane into two lanes of 350 bpm. Such two separate lanes enter our bundler on two parallel infeed conveyors.

The standard application of the SAVONPACK AMERICA is for the production of bundles consisting of two rows, what we call “TWIN BUNDLES”, i.e. 3 on right + 3 on left  = 6, 4+4 = 8 etc up to 8+8 = 16 etc. However, the same bundler can be used for smaller bundles with one single row.

The main improvement of this version - compared to the standard SAVONPACK - is the parallel operation of two lanes on incoming products. The two rows of the bundle are formed by the two lanes from the very beginning (the left lane forms the left row, and the right lane forms the right row).

For big bundles, the speed limit is determined by the infeed: 700 incoming products per minute are bundled in about 43 bundles/min of 16 bars.

For smaller bundles, the limit is due to the max machine cycle (cutting, wrapping) at 80 bundles/min.

The machine is to be fed with cartoned and wrapped soap bars (and any compatible product) arriving from the upstream machine.

The core machine is of standard, sturdy design and can be completed and customized with different upstream and downstream kits for the suitable combination of operations necessary to obtain the requested bundle (multi-pack).

The wrapping material is usually BOPP (bi-oriented polypropylene), polyethylene, or different plastic films from a continuous reel.
