SOAP AUTOMATIC STAMPERS - SINCE 1934

CONDOR

The re-engineered CONDOR Soap Stamping Machine ensures smooth extraction of soft and sticky bars through its unique simultaneous feed, stamp, and extraction process, combining precision engineering with advanced materials.

CONDOR.jpg

Since the 1970s, SAS MARIANI has been recognized by soap manufacturers worldwide for the exceptional performance of the CONDOR soap stamping machine, with 220 units sold over the years. The CONDOR was the world’s first flash-stamping multi-cavity soap press, pioneering a technology that is now the standard for toilet soap production.

Building on this success, we later introduced the Stampex series of flash-stamping presses and discontinued the CONDOR line, while preserving its key advantages. However, in recent years, the soap market has evolved with increasingly soft and sticky formulations, making bar extraction from stamping cavities more challenging—even when using specialized die materials. The unique stamping process of the CONDOR, which simultaneously feeds, stamps, and extracts the soap, ensures smoother removal from the cavities and minimizes impact on the de-flashing plate, gently separating excess soap from the finished bars. Inspired by this efficient process, we have re-engineered the CONDOR technology and we are proud to introduce a new series of CONDOR presses, available in capacities ranging from 200 to 500 stamped bars per minute.

While the Stampex series continues to serve a variety of applications, we recommend the CONDOR technology for stamping:

  • Shampoo bars, typically soft, sticky, and uniquely shaped;

  • Syndet bars;

  • Translucent soaps;

  • 100% coconut-based soaps;

  • Rim-blocks;

  • Irregularly shaped products;

  • Cosmetic-quality soap bars.

STAMPING PROCESS
The main vertical stamping movement is obtained with a toggle-joint mechanism (no cams) to assure the maximum sturdiness and simplicity.
The action of stamping is with double-stroke, this assures a superior finishing and the stabilization of the shape.
The bottom rotating mandril has four stations, each station has a single operation:

  • Loading of billet

  • Stamping into bars

  • Extraction of stamped bars

  • Separation of any flashing, if necessary

Each of these operations can be accurately performed because they are not in sequence but are done in parallel.
The unique feature of the movable de-flashing plate is of great help in allowing a delicate separation of the flashing at low relative speed.
The CONDOR press takes advantage of the latest technical developments regarding solutions and materials. As well as the Stampex press, it has an intermittent infeed conveyor, a customized discharge conveyor, cooling circuits for the die sets, circuits for compressed air and vacuum.
